Play Area Update

Following contractual and technical issues works has re-started on the play area. Changes are being made to some of the equipment already installed and the the landscaping contractors will the continue preparation of the ground prior to installation of the turf and safety matting in the next few weeks. The opening of the play area will be dependant on the establishment of the turf and it is hoped that now we are moving into the autumn wetter weather along with a programme of watering will ensure the grass surface can get established. The landowners are continuing to liaise with the Council to ensure that the play area can be opened at the earliest opportunity.
