At its April planning committee South Kesteven District Council unanimously approved the plans for the proposed convenience store on Penrhyn Way.
Preparatory work is underway on the pre-construction phase of the project, including the design around the enabling access road up to the store entrance and planned customer parking.
Subject to financials, it is hoped that construction will commence in Spring 2026, with the store opening by early 2027. The potential operator will most likely be one of the well-known national brands as a tenant.
Updates will be posted here as and when there is further news to report
