Poplar Farm is located off the Barrowby Road to the north-west of Grantham town centre, which is within easy walking or cycling distance, and commuting distance of Nottingham, Lincoln and Newark. London on the main rail-line is a little over 1 hour away.

Poplar Farm is a residential-led scheme situated close to some of the area's many attractions including Belvoir Castle, Belton House and Londonthorpe Woods.

The site is owned jointly by Buckminster and Norwich Hub who are acting as master developers in a joint venture to provide serviced plots to national and regional housebuilders. If you have any construction or defect matters in your home to raise, these need to be addressed directly to the housebuilder firm you bought your house from and not with us via this website.

After receiving outline planning consent in 2011 six phases have now been sold and built out, delivering 677 new family homes and flats, including 108 affordable homes.

Topography on the site has been a challenge and an opportunity: the new Poplar Farm Primary School was opened in 2018, to a modern design, sitting proud on elevated ground. There is a feature spine of open space running through the southern phases, anticipated to be in a mature enough state in 2023 to hand over to the District Council to maintain.

The new residents continue to make a valuable addition to the population, supporting the shops and services Grantham has to offer.
